5K

The 5,000 hit milestone is coming up soon, about 200 more starting now, so if you get it, send a pic on over. No prizes as of yet since my annual income is about $200, but maybe in the future.

Clinton, Clinton, Clinton

This site is British, but we still can poke fun at Clinton. Here's an article I found on Atomic Half-life that links Clinton with another scandal, this time with warezing the OEM version on Half-life.

Flashy New HL Site

I was browsing Halflife.net and found a new Half-life site called The Half-Life Experience. This site is unique because it's 100% Flash3. Currently under construction, but looks very promising.

2 New Movies

Atomic Half-life has posted two new movie for our OEM deprived lives. One is of Gina, the Multiplayer model, and is another one of those 360 degree AVI's. The other is of Jay from the Preliminary CD. Both are well worth the download 'if it's new to you'.

Me

It looks like I forgot to introduce myself before so, here I am. I've been working at the Daily Death Since Early December last year which is still waiting to turn into Half-life.net. Anyway it is a great honor to be part of the legendary Far2Cool team. I plan to try very hard to get the news, especially after the English people go to sleep.

Interview

Syco just sent me word that he has an interview with Harry Teasley up on his site. A very good and worthwhile read.

UPDATED! - Exclusive Screenshots

Direct from Valve are two new screenshots exclusive to this site! The first one shows a crate moving along a overhead train system, and a good glimpse of the meaty shotgun. And the second shows a scene from the really cool fight between a grunt squad and some aliens I witnessed at ECTS a couple of weeks ago! AI IN ACTION! Read the preview/s to see what was going on. and

The newest Half-Life & TeamFortress II Squad to hit the games scene is hosted here! And yes, you'd better belive it, its called The Far2Cool Faction! An initially UK based squad we're aiming to clean the rest of the Half-Life community off the face of the map! ;-) If you're interested in joining either the UK wing then take a browse over the page here.

We're back... for good!

Well its been a hectic few weeks but finally the new re-vamped Half-life@Far2Cool is back!!

Now I can welcome my mate Dann 'The Man' Thombs to the team! Between both sides of the Atlantic I'm sure there isnt going to be a scrap of news that slips through our fingers! BTW. For those who didnt know... unlikely yes I know... Dann has been the webmaster ofThe Daily Death for nearly as long as I've been running my own website. And for you folks who dont know, thats now well over a year!

So if you've any news, or maybe some questions on Half-Life then be sure to e-mail either Dann or myself Alex. Also we're keeping an eye out for possible newshounds and contributors to the site, so If you fancy having a go... As regards the site, as this is a new launch there are 'buggy' areas which will need to be ironed out, and pages still to go online, we envisage the entire site being fully operational within a week.

Finally a quick mention to Frankie and the rest of the team at Business Corporations Network! Thanks for all your help and dont think I still dont need it!! ;-)

Not One. But Two Previews!

Following on from my recent (nearly two weeks, I confess!) three-day excursion to ECTS, the 'European Computer Trade Show', I've now finally completed my own preview of Half-Life! But thats not all! I met up with fellow Half-Life fanatic Dave 'MaDMaXX' Monks up in London as well! And so he's done his own preview as well!

So take a look at both previews now. Alex's Preview and Dave's Preview. If you've got any further questions about the game, turn over the page to the feedback page, and as the name suggests give us some feedback.
