Gabe Q&A Clarification

I received and e-mail from MaDMaXX who received an reply from Lisa. Sentances in red are from MaDMaXX; sentances in blue are Lisa's reply.
Hi, sorry your not keeping a features list, then I suppose it would be a
two pages long ;)
Anyway, there was a Q&A with Gabe
(Here) by the unknown clan regarding the OEM demo and they mentioned the lack of reloading sound for the glock pistol and the mp5, I asked you about this a while back and you believed that there would be sounds for these events, I also asked Gabe at the ECTS show and he also said there would be sounds for the events of reloading the mp5 and pistol, I hope that this is still the case, as I'm sure a lot of fans (are there are more than you can imagine) ;) would hope that these sounds are in too.

If Gabe said they would be replaced, then that's probably right.

A quick side note, Durandal also mentioned the clip reloading, just adding bullets rather than replacing the clip completely,

yes, that's how it works. If you've only fired a few bullets from the clip and then hit reload, only the missing bullets will be replaced, not the clip.

and the mp5 and the pistol using the same bullets, are these being changed?

No

or, er, I mean suppose those would be ok but you know, oh well :)

Thanks for your time

Dave

Vote, because your country(s) need(s) you.

I just received an e-mail from Mike Salmon of PC Accelerator. Here's the low-down:
The definitive vote on what first-person shooter is looking to be the best. The tally's from this poll will be used in an upcoming magazine article and discussed among key developers, esteemed PCXL staffers, and other random people who like to talk. Send over your readers to make a difference for their game.

Go to pcxl.ign.com because your vote counts!!!

THE QUESTION:
Due to an epidemic polygon shortage in the U.S. (later to be known as the great polygon famine of '98) the Supreme Court has ruled that only one more 3D game can be released in the next year. Which game do you want?

  • Sin:
  • Duke Nukem Forever:
  • Quake III Arena:
  • Half-Life:
  • Prey:
  • Daikatana:
  • 3Deep Starring Tawny Kitaen:
thanks,

Mike Salmon

Classifieds clarification

Just uncase I wasn't clear before, the classified section is for site help, whatever that may be. Not for game hints or community questions. We'll have a forum up sometime for that. Glad to see it's being noticed though :)

There seems to be a new browser running around, so I'm going to download it and see how well this page looks in it. If you want to try it, then visit Neoplanet.com and have a look.

Wallpaper

Normally I wouldn't post a wallpaper unless I was asked to, but this one just kicks so much butt, it's not funny. It is by Havoc and was found on Atomic Half-life

Classfieds Form up

I added a form for the classified ads page, so now you don't need to bother with that messy e-mail thing people keep talking about.
