Weapons & Tools in Half-life
Crowbar
Very practical, but alas not much use as a weapon against the bigger monsters you'll encounter. But its especially usefull for prying open ventilation covers, and similar sections...like cupboards and the like. Its practical, but from my own experiance its not particulary effective for much else.
Pistol
The simple, and edvidently the mainstay of your arsenal. It has a nice animation, but the stopping power is simply not there, only good for getting those head-crabs as they fly through the air at you.
MP-3

MP-5
Effective. Excellent. Cool. Rapid fire machine gun toggles to a granade launcher, great for destroying the many bigger enemies which you'll come accross.
